Dear Parents and Families,
Thank-you to all of our families, students and staff. You have been so supportive during the lockdown period.
The lockdown for the Katherine area has been lifted. Our school will be open for all students and staff as of Monday 23rd of August, however until noon, Thursday the 26th of August, there will be a number of restrictions that will apply. We ask that our families continue to check the website listed below for the most up to date information including restrictions that apply to the Katherine area.https://coronavirus.nt.gov.au/
Children under 12 years old are not required to wear a mask.
The provision of masks are the responsibility of students, staff and families.
Teachers and early childhood educators are not required to wear masks when delivering teaching and learning/care for children and students – refer to the latest CHO directions.
School excursions, professional development, school events
School excursions, camps and school events where large groups were planned to gather will be deferred for the next week in the Greater Darwin region and Municipality of Katherine while we have restrictions in place.
Drop Offs and Pick Ups
Parents and carers entering our school site will need to wear a mask and sign in using the Territory Check in app. Please ensure that you are demonstrating physical distancing whilst on school grounds.
